Krossá river in Bitrufjord
Krossá river is a small mountain river in which two fishing rods are rented at the same time. The 8 km. long fishing area is marked with 24 fishing spots. In the summer season an average of 100 salmon are being caught. In 2010 our logbook registered even 160 catches.
Sustainability
Krossá is a sustainable mountain river which has little water in dry periods and then the salmon are easy to spot. For this reason, the risk of overfishing is quite large and anglers are asked to release large salmon to ensure sustainability.
